"[The company] has said it has substantial doubt about its ability to continue operating." Well, that's a shock. A company with basically no income, huge losses (what on, I have no idea) and an immediate intention to sell all of the majority owner's shares...

Indeed. More like a mobster from films about mobsters. Dick Tracy maybe!

He does behave more as a wannabe gangster than a politician.

    Liz Truss Resigns as PM

The BoE have had a report last week which was reported as being critical of their approach/predictor systems. You'll be shocked that the IEA and CPS are both critical of the BoE as does this Tufton St puppet.

    Super League 2024

Yes, I couldn't see why it need all the replays, other than wanting to be safe in the decision. Ridiculous try.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

But they haven't not cooperated. The club FFP/PSR things are easy: Club: Here are our accounts. We lost X. We claim Y as allowances, meaning an FFP loss of Z. PL: We'll let you have some of Y, but not all. You've overspent.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That was my understanding too, and I think what PrestwichBlue said. It got a one-off payment of 25m (or so) which went into income. I think the issue was mostly because Fordham was also an ADUG company (I may have the wrong name there - certainly something to do with the owners), and would it...

According to the BBC: "The UK's biggest supermarket chain said pre-tax profits hit £2.3bn, up from £882m, while sales rose by 4.4% to £68.2bn in the year to 24 February."
