Not really a documentary as such but Pompeii: The New Dig is well worth a watch for anyone interested in history, it’s absolutely fascinating what they uncover, in particular the artwork. Quite incredible what they achieved in those days with limited materials. BBC2

This! It was completely bizarre. You could see that goal coming simply because of how shit we were in that period. Madrid were knocking around without a care in the world.

We have had problems with this all season. The big problem we had with Chelsea last game was how easily they beat the press and how quickly they got up the pitch. Jackson caused us lots of problems. They should have scored 3/4 at our place and are in better form. Won’t be an easy game at all...

Neither do I. It was stupid. Kovacic pen was awful too. I didn’t fancy us at all in the shootout but when Modric missed it raised my hopes. That didn’t last long. Their next four pens were very good.

I was more disappointed with conceding at 3-2 up at their place. Yes it was a good hit but we should have seen the game out from there even if that meant having all 10 players behind the ball. There has been an element of sloppiness to our play all season and it’s why we have failed to beat any...
