    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

One of the first names on the teamsheet. I always thought there was a player in there somewhere but never expected this. Nunes! Nunes! Nunes!

Will we win the league this season?

I thought the same. Having to actually go 95 minutes most weeks takes its toll.

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Had a fiver on him to score from outside the area at 60/1 when he came on. Thought he'd done it from where I was sat.

    Referees' Performances | 2025/26

I'm normally not one for whataboutery, but if that handball decision in the FA Cup final last season had gone against one of the red three, we'd never ever hear the end of it. Of course it probably wouldn't have gone against them in the first place.

    Borussia Dortmund - Wed 5th Nov, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Think we’ll see Marmoush and Cherki on the wings as he’ll want to save Doku for Liverpool and I think he’ll move Foden to the right on Sunday and pack the midfield. Hope I’m wrong about the Cherki bit mind.

    14 | Nico Gonzalez - 2025/26

It’s almost as if a guy who’s played for Barcelona, Valencia (not ratboy’s iteration), Porto and Manchester City at the age of 24 is a pretty good player.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Best RB in the country based on current form.

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Until the day he died my grandad used to say he wished we’d signed Ali five years earlier. In case you’re not watching big fella, we’ve got one ten years younger.

I know the opposition was fairly ordinary. I remember Jay Spearing being the next Steven Gerrard on the back of one performance. But bloody hell, this boy can really really play.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Imagine if you'd have said on here at the end of January that by the end of the year our best three full backs would be Khusanov, Nunes and O'Reilly.

    4 | Tijjani Reijnders - 2025/26

Looks considerably better further forward (Wolves, Arsenal, Brentford) than as one of a midfield two, which probably makes him the odd one out when everyone’s fit unless he shows he can play that deeper position.
