    Wembley Warning

Ouch. That must hurt but it's a story to dine out with for life! I've always thought all seater stadiums were dangerous and hopefully the authorities will take up my suggestion of seat belts to prevent accidents like this.

    Seat counters 2023/24

    Tremendous support yesterday. Absolutely brilliant.

    Chelsea (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

There are some idiots following football these days, many working in the media. I have had a good look at the Grealish penalty appeal and anyone calling that a penalty really needs to find another sport to moan about.

Emirates FA Cup Changes Ahead of 2024/25:

Winning trophies should be hard. We will eventually end up with an FA Cup winning team that didn't actually win a game but took penalties very, very well!

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Slightly off topic. For those arguing that we need 'fairer' rules so that all teams start roughly at the same line. Barcelona are rebuilding the Nou Camp to accommodate 105,000 fans, United, it is rumoured, are planning to rebuild Old Trafford to accommodate 90,000. Those clubs, and others, are...

Real Madrid post match post mortem

Similar to the Arsenal game I think. Both Arsenal and Real Madrid packed the penalty area and were clever enough to just block rather than make tackles. In both games we had a few good chances but neither keeper needed to be brilliant, just steady. Pep needs to come up with a tactic to create...

    Set Pieces

On penalties: Most players struggle with the responsibility and many, in shoot outs, place it so safely on target that if the goalkeeper goes the right way then he easily saves (Kovacic and Modric penalties last night). I'd take the responsibility out of their hands and the manager tells them...

How's your mood after the RM game?

I've seen us win everything I've wanted to win. I will die happy (not just yet though).

Real Madrid post match post mortem

The players gave their all which is all anyone can ask. Over the two legs we were the better side but perhaps lacking with creating cast iron chances.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Good response. I think in City's case that the owners have spent what £1.5 billion? but the club(business) is now valued at £5 billion. That is not spending that is investing. Without that investment then you will get stagnation and no improvement.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Great post. I think similar, professional football is basically buying and selling the best players you can, putting them in your shirts and going to 'war'. It's been that way since the maximum wage was abolished and the big city teams took over because the 'town' clubs could never compete...

    Real Madrid (H) - Wed 17th April, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Nervous. This is going to be tough. Real Madrid are built to counter attack, City are built to be counter attacked. That said, Real Madrid don't like defending and they will need to defend very well tonight. The crowd is very important but we tend to be very loud in these games. Bottom line for...

    The Labour Party

It does seem incredibly petty but that's exactly where we are with politics, activists and influencers trying to be 'players'. I was not a great lover of Jeremy Corbyn but at least he tried to keep things about issues rather than individuals.

    Atmosphere - 2023/24

The away support was absolutely superb. Usually is. Well done everyone.

    Arsenal (H) - Sun 31st Mar, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

A lot of people (not us obviously) wanting this to be an 'end of era', 'falling off perch' type game. Arsenal do appear to very, very highly motivated. We need to bring the noise today.
