I started the day disappointed with the Pep news but that was the perfect reminder of where we are.
Nowhere near good enough especially away from home in the league. 3 away wins against the top 12 is piss poor at best. Especially when you are dropping points against 3 of the bottom 5 as well...
The away performances this season have been mostly poor so this isn't a surprise.
How many of the top 12 have we beaten away from home. Is it just 3 of them?
So was I. I'll be honest from the pandemonium in the ground I couldn't remember much else than hugging everyone around me but having watched the game back numerous times the pitch invasion happened after the game had finished. Nothing at all like what happened at Celtic
Why fuck about with the tactics for a final?
Marmoush and Haaland doesn't work. It was shit against West Ham, shit against Liverpool and shit against Palace in last years final
Usually at this point of the season its results that matter. This season goal difference is a major factor.
Not good enough and feels like we have taken our foot off Arsenal's throat not bumping up the score.
NOR has to play left back, right now he's not good enough in midfield
I'm confused as to what criticism can be said at that point.
Yes tonight's not great but it's not as bad a performance as when we lost to Mansfield in 1998.
Such a lethargic performance. Why you would move NOR into midfield after his consistently brilliant performances at left back is a mystery.
Thankfully Burnley have been shite. Wasting a great opportunity here.
