All strikers have dips in form. Haaland does not turn up against the top teams. He just doesn't. Scoring has not been an issue under Pep. Haaland was brought in to get us over the line in the big games against the top teams. For almost 18 months others have had to bail him out.

Nit picking is being overly critical of last night. All I'm saying is not beating a team like Madrid isn't surprising because we haven't done it all season. My original post was to someone who was making out this was a one off

Can we not compare Aguero to Haaland. In 12/13 he scored against Real Madrid, scored the winner against United, equaliser against Liverpool, scored the first against Spurs and the winner against a good Chelsea team Aguero turned up in the big games.

Thankfully in the league we have been able to beat the other sides and those around us have dropped points too. I guess my point is we haven't been able to beat any team of note this season and that makes it almost impossible to win the Champions League.

Nobody is imagining anything. Unless I've forgotten us beating top teams. In the league you can get away with not beating the top teams as long as they drop points which is what has been happening. In the CL however you are never going to win it with an inability of getting over the line and...

I wouldn't say that's putting the boot in. More like stating the obvious.
