Gianluigi Donnarumma | Done deal according to Romano

Donna was great vs Arsenal (if you ignore the offside goal he conceded because he doesn't come off his line), which is probably what most are basing his ability on, but he lets in quite a few soft goals, and for all this 'experience' talk, the goal he conceded against Germany was ridiculous.

Gianluigi Donnarumma | Done deal according to Romano

Who do you think is taking over from Pep, Pulis? In all likelihood it'll be Enrique who just got rid of Donna for someone more able with his feet. Was playing from the back outdated when Ederson and Rodri made the same mistake against Spurs 2.5 years ago, a few months before we won the treble...

Gianluigi Donnarumma | Done deal according to Romano

I recall conceding that goal quite a few times with Rico at RB. Absolutely mad to me that we are messing around with GK and WF a week before the deadline when the most urgent position before the window was even open (maybe along with a midfielder) has been completely ignored. I don't get it. Are...

    Brighton & Hove Albion (A) - Sun 31st Aug, 14:00 | Pre-Match Thread

---------------Haaland Ait-Nouri Foden Cherki Bobb -----------Rodri Reijnders -------Gvardiol Dias Stones ---------------Trafford I'd go back to the box midfield with Foden (or Cherki) coming in from the Left and Ait-Nouri effectively playing left wing like how Gvardiol used to. O'Reilly (or...

Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Trafford just needed to drill it towards Marmoush His actual goalkeeping was good though. Donnarumma doesn't improve matters. If City see Trafford as a no.2, and Ederson is defo off, go and get Costa

Hugo Viana | Director of Football

Putting aside the game yesterday, Hugo's ability to sign players for decent fees has been impressive, but going into the season, and a week before the deadline, with so much chaos isn't good.

Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Selling Savinho is a risk either way. If his goalscoring at Girona was an anomaly, £67m is a decent fee, and Rodrygo is probably a considerable upgrade If his goalscoring at City was an anomaly, we would be making a mistake selling him, even/especially at £67m Some stats/maths to back this up...

    Right back options

Vanderson looks pretty ideal to me. Seems well-rounded even in videos from 2.5 years ago when he was 21

    16 | Rodri 2025/26

Regardless of sharpness he makes such a difference. He's like the David Silva of 6's. Always makes the right decision.

Juventus (N) | CWC | Post Match Thread

Haaland's holdup excellent again. Reijnders is class, those forward passes are exactly what we've needed. Forward runs too. Inside or outside, Ait-Nouri is perfect for us. Doku was a menace. If he can get goals more often, he's got a long future at City.

Played well. Should be up by more than 1 tho. Even well below sharpness, Rodri makes such a difference

Ederson | Deal agreed with Fenerbahce

Should he leave, we should be looking at a HG 2nd choice in case Livramento doesn't happen. Difficult to get anyone decent tho with a WC on the horizon

    Tino Livramento

A well-rounded homegrown 22yr old £40m RB signing who can play LB (and probably RCB & LCB) and has only missed 9 games in 2 years through injury and who played 83% of minutes for the 5th best side in the PL last season, is going to cost a pretty penny. Since we signed Walker, I don't recall any...
