Wolves Thread 2025/26 | Vitor Pereira Sacked (p4)

I thought he was an Everton fan? What does seem to have played a part, is that his wife wanted him closer to home.....as he allegedly (and seems common knowledge among Luton fans) that he's a bit of an Alan Pardew......takes an unhealthy interest in players wives ;)

    Mick McCarthy

Every time the impact Andy Morrison had is brought up, I always remember Mick McCarthy was a bit similar?

    Newcastle United (A) - Sat 22nd Nov, 17:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

True......if they play like they did today, the EDS team would turn them over, they were awful. Tbf Brentford weren't much better.

Exactly......a combination of not having experienced that type of pace, and not being 100% 'match' fit yet.

Liverpool PL (H) | Man of the Match

Doku for directly 'making the biggest difference/affecting the game and result'..............but O'Reilly was the overall 'best player' on the pitch imo.

I know!! ......but most people were hellbent on FB's.

    25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

Van Dykes goal that "those dirty cheating Arabs paid VAR, PIGMOL, and the ref off for" ........according to every dipper on Facebook tonight? ;)

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Weired that all last season, everybody thought FB's were the biggest problem (never was) and we needed to buy a couple......and here we are, with two m/f's at full back, and the 'proper' one we did buy, isn't as good as the young No10 playing there!

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

The only thing that showed up today, was he wasn't up to the pace, and probably got a shock how fast some PL games can be.....coming back from injury didn't help, and was slightly surprised he started, for that reason.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

What he needs is to be consistent, not at todays level (nice as that would be) but close to it.......and none of the Rick Holden level performances, which he's capable of.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

I would add that he played a few games, out wide, when we were particularly shite last season, and was our best player in at least a couple of those.....before being stuck at RB. The hardest part of playing at the back if you haven't played there, is that the only 'bail out' for a mistake is the...

    33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

Whilst I get Doku being given MOM......I thought O'Reilly was the best player on the pitch. In the corner with Salah on his back, leading to the goal, was unbelievable!

    Players who might improve us

Why not.....he's a better left back than Ait Nouri.

    Rangers thread | 2025/26

Muscat? Had to look to see where he's managed, let's be honest, pub Leagues at best. However, probably a better bet than Dyche.....managers like him are fine, being organised and hard to beat for better teams....but realistically, at Rangers, bar Celtic he should be dominating and beating all...
