Will we win the league this season? No

Watching Arsenal play with ten men behind the ball against Burnley at home is painful. They didn't win the league, we lost it

Pep to leave at the end of the season

I think if we win the league (which we probably won't), he'll go. If we won't, he wants to give it a final season to build this new team. I personally think we're 1-2 players away from a potential second treble season and Pep sees this as a final opportunity to build another iteration of our team

    Chelsea (N) - Sat 16th May, 15:00 | FA Cup Final | Pre-Match Thread

We're going to play our best XI (except with Trafford). Swap out Ake for Guehi, and Nico for Rodri (if fit, if not then NOR with Ait-Nouri at LB)

    Crystal Palace (H) - Wed 13th May, 20:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Reading some of these previous comments, always think it's weird to a) be a supporter of a rival club and make an account here and spend hours getting involved in various threads, and b) for the rest of us to get annoyed by said rival fan We'll win this game by a good margin, but feel likely...

If Arsenal win at West Ham, I think that's it. They'll batter Burnley at home and beat Palace on the final day (Palace won't be playing for anything). Meanwhile, not worried about this game, more worried about Bournemouth away being another banana skin

Mostly agree, but I'd add Kovacic and Savinho to the outgoings. Don't think we need a new RB, or at least if we do, more of a young hungry RB as cover for Nunes. I'd probably get a second CM like Tonali and maybe a top winger like Rodrygo should one come available (or maybe a prospect like Coneicao)

    Players who might improve us

We won't replace him. All we can do is buy the best midfielders we can, and nurture leadership qualities in other players. We need to keep Rodri even if it means losing him on a free next summer. Losing both of their quality and leadership in the middle of the park and we're just not the same...

Arsenal (H) | PL | Man Of The Match

Bernardo was outstanding, a great captain, experience, judgment, work ethic, skill, everything. Nico was excellent, Cherki produced a moment of magic, Guehi - what a signing, Khusanov so good. Thought Doku and Semenyo had unusually off games, but they had good attitude and the overall team...

    Chelsea (A) - Sun 12th April, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Huge, huge game. We win this and then we have a week to prepare for Arsenal (while they have a hangover from Bournemouth and then Sporting midweek). Next Sunday evening, we could be 3 points behind with a game in hand and a few goals behind on goal difference. Could be like the epic 2011/12...

    Chelsea (A) - Sun 12th April, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

The next two matches are the hardest we have for the rest of the season, if we can get through them with six points, we give ourselves a good chance. Don't think Arsenal will drop points at home against Bournemouth, but then they play Sporting mid-week so they'll be less rested next weekend...

    The Squad planning thread

Agree with most of this, except for three things: 1) I would let Trafford go (with a buy-back clause). He deserves to be a starting keeper. So we'd need to bring in a decent back-up (not sure who that would be) 2) Keep Reijnders, dont think we need Wharton. Would be good to get both Anderson...
