Can't believe the guy doesn't have a Christmas album. I should have done an advert calendar of his album covers.

If you're primary income is pension related and you're happy to live in a smaller (20,000 people or less) town in Southern Italy there's some significant financial encouragements on offer (7% tax) and cost of living will be lower. Just sayin'.

I noticed @BlueHammer85 posted on the mental health thread that he's struggling at bit at the moment. Hope he knows how much we appreciate him here, jellied eels an all :-) Wishing all you musical mooners peace & love this Christmas.

What has the UK become under the far right influence?

Seems his name is Charles Amos and this isn't close to the maddest thing he's said (sibling marriage anyone?) so it's entirely possible he's some sort of CM instigated performance art. If it turns out he's real its further proof we might all be best served by reverting back to the days of 56k...

Now that's making me suspicious because I'd imagine you would know it's a Joni Mitchell song. Second most covered after Both Sides Now there are literally 100s of covers of it. Annoyingly though listening to this has reminded me that the best cover of it I've heard I cannot remember who it was...

Nothing against Ms Mclachaln but I'd be interested to eventually know why whoever nominated River didn't go with the original.

Think it would be remiss to not mention that this year saw the passing of Jaco Pastorius, who for some people's money was the greatest bass player there's ever been. He died pretty much as he lived in a confrontational and chaotic style as a result of his addictions. Having been ejected from...

    President Trump

Interestingly the UK has a higher percentage of people who are self-employed and/or in micro-businesses than the US. This doesn't suggest to me a country whose primary problem is one of people who think the world owes them a living. The percentage of people dependent solely on benefits is...

I think Naespires told me he'd got a job in patisserie so I imagine it'll be a busy time for him, but hopefully he'll have a moment for a guess or two.

If you had to move to London and you had to follow a team , who would it be?

Yep becoming an apprentice to the Raider is the only legit answer to this question.

This coda gives me the opportunity to post this video and point out she was 63 years old at that point. Good genes or there's a hideous portrait in a loft somewhere. In fairness she has got sensible shoes on.
