We struggle against high pressing teams like Bournemouth since Donnarumma and Haaland are two men less with the ball. The message from Pep today is: ok, press me, ball to Cherki so Haaland has 1vs1 if your defensive line is high... Great Doku with total freedom of movement.

When you need to attack another players to defend one player, something is wrong. You could say Savinho qualities... oh wait! No finishing, no crossing, no workrate, no through balls, no good decisions...

The team needs to go back to basics of positional play. And that requires more talent and intelligence than physicality. Players who have quality in tight spaces like Cherki, Foden, Bernardo and Bobb. We fear defensive transitions, so we put faster and stronger players, so we play transitions...

Foden has quality to be a decisive player, but I don't know if he's mentaly strong. Could dribble more in middle areas to create advantages, but always look for 1st touch pass. He needs to understand when is the time to assume that responsibility, the right choice. Also penetrate the channels...

That was a long ball. All midfielders was high. In fact Bobb helped Nunes much more than Savinho to Gvardiol. I remember even he intercepted a pass inside our box. He isn't aggressive as Bernardo but helps a lot in his side. He lacks speed, but see, Savinho is faster and defends just watching...
