Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

Im specifically talking about centre midfielders only to replace the other centre midfielders (Kova, Nico G, and Rodri eventually). We already have Cherki, Foden and Reijnders as 10s.

Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

From the striker, wingers and the 10 lol. The fuck are you asking about goals from for our centre midfielders, ridiculous. We need a strong centre again, and not get sliced apart, we have other positions to score goals.

He wouldn't be on the bench for us, starting RW.

Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

Yes it would require outgoings, but new manager, might as well get him new players and set him off properly. Reijnders is a 10, he has failed as an 8 imo. Having watched him for the Netherlands as the 10, in which he looked decent, I have no idea why he thinks he can play the 8, he can't. But...

Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

Get all 3 and the midfield is set for the decade stress free. Fernandes looks doable at like 65m (Westham know they won't get the 80m asking). Wharton I can see attainable at 75m (they know they won't get 100m). And Anderson I think will happen at around 110m (down from 120m). 260m for a...

    Savinho | May 2026 - Spurs linked again (p218)

There is very few wingers like him available in the market (left footed RW), we need to get a good return for him.

    Iliman Ndiaye

He's a good dribbler and hard worker (has really high defensive contributions). His end product is pretty meh it seems, but if Maresca wants high and wide wingers who can defend, I can see us in for him. Tbh, id rather just get Trincao at that point. Same age, same profile, but has shown...

He can. Endrick played RW often on his loan, and he is left footed. If this was even remotely possible we should get him, Endrick will be a superstar player for sure. But no chance Real Madrid sell him to us.

    England v New Zealand - Sat 6th June, 21:00 | Friendly

Newcastle scammed Barca big time with Gordan. What an unbelievable waste of money.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Ironically, these positions Kev gets into to get these shots, which he did for us, is what Reijnders should be doing more and occasionally does. A Doku-Reijnders connection like this should be better when Reijnders learns to shoot.

    Players who might improve us

I find the 2-footedness stat quite interesting as it started coming up as people realized we started buying these players, Cherki, Semenyo and Guehi. I would argue only Cherki is truly 2 footed. The other 2 stand out simply because they can atleast somewhat competently and regularly use their...

Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

Im not averse to MGW. Bringing him with Anderson might help Anderson settle better and he is really good friends with Foden, so maybe it helps there. ... Fuck it, go back to 433 with high flying fullbacks rotating with wingers. Buy Palestra at RB. Buy Anderson, MGW and Wharton and go all...

While I think Tonali is very good for Newcastle, im not entirely sure in his suitability for a high possession based team. Maybe he is and I need to watch him more, but thats my gut instinct. But with Wharton, he is obviously suited, 4 years younger and english (it matters), but weaker...

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Belgium standout player right now and likely will be for the tournament. What a star.

    Right back options

I dont think we can go wrong with Read or Palestra, both high potential and young with the chance to push for Nunes spot as the starter. Having seen a bit more of both, physically, Palestra looks better suited to the Premier League.
