Callum Bullock

Here's the thing Ken.......you make theses snide little threads enquiring as to the whereabouts of such players, knowing full well they have been moved on as they were never good enough to break into our team.
Its only in the last few years, given our very fortunate new status, that we have secured the services of young talent that is considered of a quality to make a genuine impact on our first team, the kids to which i refer are only now beginning to reach an age where they are considered genuine prospects.
Prior, despite our best efforts, and the academy producing many decent players that have gone on to have succesful careers elsewhere........our youth set up was never realistically of a level to produce the required atandard of talent for our own useage.

So unless youre very ignorant,or a bit daft......i can only conclude you are out to cause a bit of mischief, and the beauty of you calling myself a troll is irony at its finest.

So,to conclude,as long as you continue with your little agenda,i'll continue to monitor your input :-)

Totally agree. The kids are now starting to coming through with the right quality (17 to 18 year olds) Whether they can force their way into the 1st team past seasoned international who knows. I dont think they can unless they go out on loan and prove themselves first. We`re not trying to replace the likes Ron Futcher, Wilfred Bony, Tal Ben Haim, Wayne Biggins and the like, it will be difficult but not impossible with a bit of luck.

Yep,we are now beginning to witness the policy bear fruit,as genuine world class potential is coming through the ranks. If these kids dont get an opportunity, then i'll be at the front of the queue asking questions,as criticism will be justified.

Personally, watching the u18's this season,i have alot of faith and i think, very soon,we're going to witness something special.

Mm, still creepy. But I do feel honoured at having my future drab offerings 'monitored' by the forum's official nanny and moral guardian. Quite why you've had your knickers twisted remains elusive but I suppose it takes all sorts. I am not here to judge. Knock yourself out but do try to remain on topic and not hijack threads for your own agenda. It's excruciatingly tedious for other posters.

So to return to my original post is Mr Bullock still with us? I know it's not important but it was never meant to be. Simple curiosity as the main site remains generally uninformed regarding the comings and goings of our younger players. I can live with not knowing the answer I suppose. See also Ellis Plummer.

Not too snide I hope.
You must admit though, Ken, your posts are somewhat monothematic?
Why not broaden your Blue Moon experience and praise City when we do well or make constructive criticism when we fall short of your expectations?
As you have a specific interest in Youth Team football why not come right out and start a debate as to who will be the first recent EDS graduate to nail down a regular First Team spot?
If you think that will not happen then say so outright and we can debate it.

I think Carsley is doing a great job, I cant say the same about Davies

I am monothematic because I WANT to see a youngster make it and inject some local identity back into the club. As much as I enjoy us having success (oh how we've earned it the hard way) I can't say I get excited much when the talk is of which 'superstar' we're buying next and the endless speculation leaves me a bit meh. It seems a little too 'Chelsea' for my tastes although I suppose it's the way of things and to whinge seems churlish. Hence my increasing disillusion when each 'next big thing' gets loaned out/sold off after ten minutes of action in the League Cup. Let's have this conversation again in a year's time and see what progress has been made. One lives in hope.
