Watched him play today in Portuguese cup final. Proper Manchester weather today so he was acclimatised! Played well, one good save and commanding presence. Does like to pass to defenders and set attacks up so can see why Pep rates him. BTW! Benfica fans are just the rags of Portugal!

Whilst I am a firm believer that even I could look good on YouTube the clips of this guy look v impressive.
Reads the game and especially strikers minds well, very quick feet and very very brave.
A welcome addition particularly given his age.
It really looks like Pep is building a team for the next decade.

from the youtube clip looks very quick off his line, area he looks like he needs to improve in is his punching.
on Hart......no way he will return, would put too much pressure on Ederson from the stands if Hart was number 2 ......first mistake and the fans would be calling for Hart

purely from the youtube clips, he's got a bit of Neuer about him in terms of sweeping behind the back 4 which Pep is obviously fond of. Concerned about him dealing with crosses though, seems to flap at them quite a bit, that would need improvement in that department to cope in this league.
