Our very own @BillyShears has done an interview today with Sam Lee, the City correspondent from Goal about where we are with Mendy, Sanchez, when the Ederson announcement will happen and the rest. He's also discussed how transfer stories work and the input from other clubs.

Very good pod. I think everybody should give this a listen if they want to understand what a cat and mouse game transfers are. Everybody has an agenda and there is so much shit floating around that it's just impossible to know right from wrong. And yet, it's also possible to place some amount of confidence in a few people who you know value their journalistic integrity and also tend to have good sources. The Beckham example that Ahsan gave was just mind-blowing. Can't even imagine how Barca convinced everybody to go along with it.

Also, fuck Laporte.
