Make this season Claudio Bravo's season

Again this topic shows somehow the comments on his performances last season are by far more vicious than any other player we discuss. Typical scapegoat stuff.
Usual suspects on here as well who still don't see why Pep choose him over Hart. And Caballero. Ignoring the fact that half of the conceded goals were not his fault. With a foreward line failing to convert the many chances come off much easier than Bravo. Let alone our defence.
Just look at the number of pages the Bravo thread (part 1and 2!) compared to any of the other players while Bravo even started the season later. It speaks for itself. He became a scapegoat in extreme.
Yes this forum is about opinions. The booing is absolutely non acceptable. However you can wonder why the media hyped Bravos failures and we, who are so suspicious about the media, let us led by actually believing the stat to be used against the man and knowing it wasn't the problem. We've had some bad players but none have been treated like Bravo. That imo is why Martin started this thread. Bravo will bring a lot more competition next season and some might wonder about their opinion. Let's hope so because it'll mean he does a good job for City and that is all we want. Even on here. Most of us at least ...

Anyone that boos any City player should hang their head in shame.

It's not worked out so far for Claudio & it may never do so but at least support him while he's in the team.

Peps as culpable but he's not booed.
There were plenty doing it last season, made my blood boil. Fans behind the goal about 5 rows from the front calling him c**t as loud as they could shout. Disgraceful behavior.

Make it the season where I never see Claudio Bravo in a city shirt

We can only live in hope that the short arse clown is never seen between the sticks again for us, hopefully Ederson has a fitness record like big Joe Corrigan in the late 70s and Coco only gets the odd cup game.

Beats me how anyone could openly abuse one of our own players. Seems that a section of our support needs a scapegoat, as there's been plenty over the years. We should get behind every player in a City shirt.

What is the matter with you?

Surely you want to see bravo turn in the performances for us that he did for Barcelona and Chile. If he does it for them, he can do it for us. Did you know that Corrigan had a very difficult start to his City career? He cleared a ball once to a West Ham player who promptly sent it straight back into the net over his head.

Do not expect Ederson to be an instant hit here. Most players, especially young ones, take time to settle in. Claudio has decided to stay here in spite of knowing that he will be a second choice, that is quite respectable for a player of his stature. Willy did turn his critics' heads, didn't he? Claudio should be put out of starting pressure for some time and he'll come good.
