I went to Belgrade in Serbia with Wales last month and there wasn't a shred of trouble. Nobody was targeted and we complied when asked to board free buses to the ground. They were optional too. English club and national side fans don't help themselves sometimes. Want to avoid mither? Keep away from the designated places and hide colours if necessary.
The only away I've done with City in Europe was Sevilla. It was a learning curve. We were confronted in the O'Neills Irish bar by local yobs getting revenge for the trouble in Manchester. Just a shame it was caused by Slask Wroclaw fans.
My gut instinct is to be sensible and walk if it looks like it's going to kick off. I may go again in the future but, to be honest, I'd rather watch Wales away.
