Kids riding bikes on "private" estate

Paid for my bike that way ! Still hated Sundays though.

Sundays were the best for us. The shop manager used to pay me and my mate an extra fiver to come in at 6, sort all the supplements out and let us choose a chocolate bar. Used to have a look at all the porn mags while he was in the back Room too.

Was hard work with all the supplements but well worth it for us

This has all kicked off now. A woman came to the door to ask that they didn't come around. I kept my cool but said No. She tried to insist but I said that I wanted the land owner to write to me and explain the problem the kids are causing and their legal position. Tonight they did it again, my wife went round and went off her head at her.

We've lost the moral high ground now she's done that. That's why you should always keep your Cool in these situations.

Fair play to your wife, if it's not private property, they've no rights to tell your kids they can't be there. Did you ask the woman what harm your kids are doing?
In my experience, a lot of very wealthy types will act up on things such as this, it's due to them having their own way in most instances.
Hold firm, no harm getting a bit stroiong with them either, they're your children after all.

Sundays were bad but The days we hated in the 60s was Thursday. That was before Sunday Papers each became what Selwyn Froggatt called "6 papers and a free book."
That was when Exchange and Mart, People's Friend, Radio Times, Women's Weekly, Women's Own came out.

When the woman came round she began the conversation by telling me that a rugby league player and a premier league footballer (not City or United before you ask, I live on Yorkshire now) had houses on the estate. So that was her angle, and the reason I didn't budge. Like that's relevant. I was smiling and saying "if you tell me what problems they are causing I will stop them immediately", but of course she couldn't, so she kept reverting back to "its private". I was ready for her because of the advice in this thread, and informed her that IF it was private I want to hear from the landowner which is NOT her.

When my wife went round one of the boys came home crying because the bloke had shouted at them. My wife was furious, hence the confrontation. I've been expecting someone to come around tonight but they haven't.

I can't believe I'm in a "neighbours from hell" type situation with a couple of jumped up snobs. I'm ready when it happens again. But the trick is not to lose your cool.

I've just sent them out for a quick "fly past" before bed.

I know it's wrong but I couldn't help it.
