Admittedly there are doctors and physios at City with combined hundreds of years of experience and know-how.

That said, none of them can convince me it is a good idea to play Vincent Kompany twice in four days coming off an injury and with 10 games coming up in the next month, with our best CB already ruled out for all of them.

Sane has looked a bit disinterested in the past few games. The lack of an attacking left back has meant most play seems on the right and middle.Maybe Pep thinks he will mix it up a bit.
