Harry Maguire

I've watched his last 4 games. He looks like a farm hand with an eye for a sheep. Strong, yes, good in the air, yup, ball winner, yup, positional sense, iffy, passing, average.

Pep could mould him, could, but Stones had more about him, especially in the passing stakes. Stones looks class on the ball, all the time in the world, a sure sign of class. Farmer Giles looks hurried.

Plus 50 million is far too much.
He might be seen by Leicester as a comparable to Micheal Keane ( £25m Everton)
Sounds cheap in today’s market but £35m/£40m might be enough to them think

A player who is used to defending deep who didn't strike me as a good defender in the games we had played against Leicester and who would look lost in our side. We are better off in keeping Mangala for the rest of this season than signing the likes of Maguire, Tarkwoski and JFE.

You must of watched him against Brazil

Liked him for quite a while and would fit in well. He has all the raw materials to be a quality ball playing CB

But given that he was signed for 17m in the summer the most he should cost is double that. The price mentioned is silly, it's not like he has proven it at a high level like Walker and Mendy did.
