as much as I hate united as much as the next guy, Fergies biggest strength in his early days was offloading players who looked to be at the top of their game for them to flop elsewhere. Hughes, Robson, Inch, Irwin and many more. Yaya is retiring at the end of the season, I expect Serg to be sold for big money and us get a fair priced replacement. The following season it will probably be Ferd and Silva. It will hurt, we will feel he is making a mistake but Pep is building a dynasty here

I think the coming seasons we'll see more academy players Integrated into the squad, players who hopefully will be good enough to step up into the squad and stay there.

sitting on a 'perfect' squad (no such thing) and then panicking in 3 years when a group of players are ageing, going down in ability for whatever reason or looking to move on. Then you have to buy another 6 at hyper-inflated transfer fees and having 1 or two seasons wrecked by 'transition'.
nah, always add, prune and massage your squad, every year, even if its only a player or two in both directions.
To improve the squad, we need a striker of the Lewandofski (sp?) type and a DM to cover for and succeed Ferna.
After that we will need........and so it goes on.

Most important thing is getting another top-class DM. We will also need to buy a new striker soon with Sergio possibly leaving either this summer or next. Outside of that, there are other areas we could buy but they would be as back up players.
