Nexen tyres

Just bought 4 new Nexen's to replace my problematic Continental's. I did a lot of research before I purchased and am very happy with them so far. In fact, the day after they were mounted we had a freak noreaster storm over here, and the Nexen's handled the snow and ice just beautifully. Go for it, I say.

That report says exactly what I did, pointing out long stopping distances for the worst tyres, and that you get what you pay for. Did you actually read it?

11th out of 50. Above some Michelin, Firestone and Yokohama. So the idea they are cheap and unsafe is BOLLOX!

Interesting that. Stuck a set of Nokian winter tyres on my wife's car last winter, they were pretty expensive but they are brilliant in the snow and ice and even hold up really well in the spring when I forget to put the summer tyres back on.

I didn't remotely say they were either. Read again.

Had to get 4 new 19" tyres for a VW and went for Nexen saved nearly £300 and the tyres are great. Just because they are better value than the Conti ones the car came fitted with doesn't make them cheap tyres. You can easily check out the properties on line. Very pleased with mine.

3 North 2 South - only a fiver each and they come ready fitted to some wheels which may fit my car - I could have an alloy !! lol
