Liverpool v City 1st leg CL Qtr Final post match

So in the last 180 mins at Anfield we've conceded 7. Not playing a right winger was suicide. Our only hope is Salah and Henderson missing in 2nd leg affecting them.
We might take a risk and go Mendy Sergio Jesus with no Sane.
 
We played shit but were totally fucked over by the officials. Their 1st goal was offside and our onside goal was disallowed plus every 50/50went their way. 1-2 a lot different than 0-3. Doesn’t disguise the fact we didn’t turn up and especially our usual big players didn’t perform.

We would be able to overturn it if there was any hope of having an intimidating atmosphere at the Etihad.Wont happen.
 
Really need to manage these games better & the situation. We all knew what was this game would be like & should have played much more defensively or make the game dull & frustrate the dippers- we never seem to learn.
 
shocked. Really shocked. First half we all know we absolutely caved in. But where the hell was the urgency in the 2nd half? They were offering nothing as an attacking force yet we didn't have a fucking shot on target. None! How the hell do we expect to get back in if we cant even shoot? Really depressing night. None of the big players stepped up and Gabriel Jesus I'm afraid just isn't up to it and that isn't after tonight only I've never been convinced by him. Carius in goal must be laughing his fucking head off. Yeah im pissed off, really didnt expect that at all especialy second half without a shot on goal.
 
Really surprised and very disappointed we didn't just strangle the game first 30 minutes, they were always going to go 100mph, tbf fair to the dippers, even with our poor defending, they were superb first half, on a side note though, never seen a ball fall in favour of the opposition as it seemed tonight, just everything bounced for them.

His record in CL away knockouts is piss poor. Atleast, we can win some leagues with him.
 
Very poor first half, only slightly better 2nd half. Worse result possible. No away goal and now he'll play a weekend team against Utd. Pep got it wrong tonight and he'll probably hold his hands up too. Go for it Tuesday, get an early goal and it'll make it interesting. Concede and we're out. Hate to say it but it's 'typical city' performance tonight. Double may have to do so it's not all bad. Chin up folks, we've been in much worse places than this over the years.
