Our team defend with the ball. When we try to soak up pressure, like vs Monaco away last season, things go to shit. He needs to keep working on improving the teams mentality, which before this past week has been excellent this season.

Danilo is the flop. When bought him people said he can play leftback too and defensive midfielder too.

now it looks like if Zinchenko, Delph, Mendy, Laporte, Fernandinho, Gundogan all out injured Pep still wouldnt prefer Danilo to play LB or DM and wouldnt blame him. Even at RB he is mediocre probably. And Real supporters were happy to sell him for quite high price. 30m omg, we wouldnt get half of that back 1 year later I'm telling you. 10m at best.

Forget all this on the pitch shit , we need ahem”investment “ in UEFA, PL and PGMOL. As a back up to this, a team of private eyes keeping tabs 24/7 on who meets who, where and when. Keep Kompany and Aguero. Both have generally been in great form in 2018. Agree that we might need an upgrade on Otamendi.

I cant believe Pep is so detailed in coaching that he lets our defence making comical mistakes in crucial games and he doesnt correct them. that surely is something than can be improved and not by signing more players as that didnt helped. 50m pounds defenders costing us big time or not even getting game time.

He does coach them. But look at his defence of John Stones at the press conference after Liverpool at home last season. The "big balls" comment etc. Being a defender in a Guardiola team is incredibly diffcult. You defend high up the pitch, often against quicker opponents, and you know one mistake = one goal. He is coaching them intensively though, just look at the improvement of Otamendi and Stones this season. He is just not slagging them off in the press, which i find quite refreshing.

Buy a 'you-shall-not-pass' CM and two strikers

Two strikers is the last thing we need if Aguero and Jesus stays. First and foremost a DM to compete with Fernandinho and a winger (preferably someone capable of playing across the front three). After that we might look at improving the backups for Mendy and Walker, and maybe a CB.

We have the best squad in the league and they are all very very young. We just need a good replacement for dinho as his legs can’t take the amount of games he is playing and we need another striker that isn’t injury prone.
