I can't remember being overly confident of other penalty takers of fairly recent times; Anelka, Barton etc.

Elano for me.

Balotelli - excellent though he was - relied on the keeper moving and then shooting the other way. And if the keeper doesn't move, it's just about saveable.

Elano relied on nothing. He simply fired it so hard into the side netting, that there's nothing any keeper can do about it.
