Spurs (a) - Post Match Thread

Just so everyone is clear.

If United lose either of or draw both of their two matches before we play Swansea next Sunday we are champions. (Home v West Brom tomorrow, away v Bournemouth Wednesday)

If they draw one of these two we need a point for mathematical certainty but have a 30 goal advantage that would have to be overturned even if we did not get another point.

If they win both we need to win next Sunday to win the title.

Big win. They’re a good side, strong, physical, and with a deep bench to call upon, but we were too much for them tonight. Should have played 9 men for most of that game, though, and it would have been easier.

Nice to see Guardiola cut the Sky interview short and get Sterling and de Bruyne in to be with the rest. Real sense of togetherness.

Fuckin hell, wasn't expecting anything but a 3 or 4 goal loss in this one. Our lads did us proud tonight but I doubt Moss will be receiving a brown envelope tomorrow morning.

3 or 4 goal loss? Wtf. I thought it would be tough but come on...

What a result!

What a performance. Entire game we absolutely dominated them, even accounting for their stuffy goal.

Pep changed the game at 2-1 with the Sane - Otamendi sub.

Quality. One more win!

How are we 17 clear of Liverpool with a game in hand yet managed to get beat twice in the space of a week by them?

This City team is just so strange whenever it comes up against Liverpool.

An offside goal. A worldly that Chamberlain won't score again for the rest of his professional career. An assault on our team bus. A perfectly legitimate goal chalked off. A stonewall penalty. And that was just Anfield.

They're lucky bastards and will be dispatched in the next round of the CL and will finish once again, for the 13th consecutive season, potless

So for any lurking mafia, cult supporting Liverpool fans, go fuck yourself, cause we're to busy polishing our 2 bits of silver

Also touching hearing the crowd singing the Guardiola song towards the end of the match. It has been a difficult week, but true City fans do not forget...

Also touching reading posts supporting Raheem, Ilkay and the rest of the lads.

An attitude a lot of people in this forum can learn from...

Well done indeed.

Well said. In years to come we’ll look back on these guys as title winning heroes just like we do bell lee buzzer etc. Criticise em for bad performances by all means but don’t go overboard
