I think that was Branded, great shout, loved it.

That's it Branded, wouldn't have remembered who was in it but just googled it and it was Chuck Connors. On wikepedia though it say 1965 and 1966 and the first series black and white I wouldn't have remembered that maybe it was repeated in the 70s but I only remember the colour series 2.

I remember some really weird kids programmed, none more weird than chocky and The boy who lost his laugh.

Chocky was about an entity that took over kids brains and the boy who lost his laugh I think sold his laugh to the devil in return for he would win any bet.

Just looked it up and it was called
Micro ventures
only had 4 episodes but as it was always repeated nearly every school holiday probably felt like a lot more

It wasn’t a cartoon , still on , on the horror Chanel .
