Yeah, that's right, Gullivers is on Soi 5. I should know that, as I lost an argument just last month, saying it was Soi 7, to a girl that said it was Soi 5.
I'm not a fan of Gullicers either but was just trying to think of places that will show the game.

You are spot on in saying that Soi 7/1 does not appear to be a place to watch football, but if you do not get dragged into the other bars in the Soi, the Pickled Liver is definitely a football pub, and as mentioned, Nick the owner, although a big Sheffield Wednesday fan, will make all blues welcome.
Going slightly off topic..................Bangkok Beat was a great live band venue and such a shame it closed down.
 
Is that a euphemism? Do think about Thailand on occasions but know full well it’d kill me.
