They are free from worrying about staying in the prem, all excited to play and try and beat the champions and as you say they have played a lot less games than we have, everyone thought hudders would be a walkover and never learn

Would you be saying all this, if they weren't your home town club ? ;-)

Free from worry may (hopefully) mean they may be more expansive and less concerned about taking a risk at the expense of defensive solidarity. Yes, that may mean they try to hit us on the break more but it may also lead to plenty of space for us to exploit if the boys are up for it.

Always a glass half full/empty way of looking at these things.

A game for fresh players w/o the World Cup on the horizon. Not for 50+ games players ? Brighton have only played 36 (reserves in Cup games, not the 46+ in the Championship) so I can't see them being knackered as they are not a pressing team.

Jose Izquierdo needs a "special" to make the Colombia squad!
A bit of an aside, but Izquierdo will be snapped up by a top Half club in the summer, perhaps one of the first transfers.

He is far too good to continue playing with Brighton.

have heard there is going to be a post match presentation to yaya. why not do it before the match in front of a full house rather than a half empty stadium. they don't learn do they, last time they did it post match there was hardly anyone there which will be a real shame for yaya. organisers r a bunch of idiots, and when the press pick up on it with pictures of yay saying goodbye to a rapidly emptying stadium the fans will get the blame.

Yep, especially with the match finishing around 10 and the length of time it'll take to sort out, they couldn't run a p.ss up in a brewery !!!

I guess that means Pep isn't planning to play him from the start. No point in doing a presentation if he's sitting on the bench. If he is starting then its rather stupid not to do it before the game. It would give him such a lift and he may roll back the years and play a blinder to finish his career here.
