It was daft of anyone to think we would prioritise records over the fact that many of these players have a world cup looming and we are not going to flog them or risk them in meaningless games.

I said in the thread on points and records months ago this would happen if we won the league with weeks to go.

We still could do it and it is silly to think otherwise.

But this was totally to be expected.

Just disappointed that Foden does not get the start he deserves.
