AN amateur bodybuilder who claimed a back injury left him wheelchair-bound has been ordered to pay £35,000 after he was filmed pumping iron.

Curt Gorog tried to claim a £150,000 payout for the injury sustained in 2012, which he claimed left him disabled.

Gorog even attended benefits assessments in a wheelchair as he claimed more than £50,000 in welfare payments

It's stories like this that desensitise us to when genuine benefit claims get cut, sanctioned etc. The papers love stories like this or someone on DLA that wins a dancing competition or is a part-time referee

should take his fine and give it to any people in his local community who need assistance or who've had their benefits cut despite really needing as much support as possible.

For the life of me I cannot understand why people waste 5 minutes of their lives posting links like this.

It's not 'stories' like this that affect the public's attitude to the welfare system.

It's twats like this who do that.
