Pep - Manager of the Season 2017/18

Klopp asked and said “guardiola obviously-great football” but then ruined it by saying he was pretty close despite being 23 points behind!

Watching the American broadcast last weekend a commentator was discussing the manager of the year award as if it was a certainty Pep would win. It was in the context of Poch not attending the awards dinner because he dislikes Pep.

This thread feels like 45 pages of deriding an incredibly unlikely hypothetical.
Unlikely ? Maybe, but the press are doing their best to make it be someone other than Pep. They do this everytime City win the league (Or have a nomination for player of the year), they put it out there until it snowballs and people lose sight of reality. The independent are running a story that Benitez AND pep should get it. TS are saying Dyche is 10/10 and Pep just 9/10.

Enough of those stories and people actually start to believe it shouldn't be Pep. It's the same old story, City win and the media start trawling for someone else who could possibly be a contender then they sell the narrative until it gets traction

Not a concerted conspiracy, just the combined efforts of lots of jealous spiteful journos imo.

That really would be taking the piss since both Newcastle and Brighton will finish above them.

Still probably a greater achievement. Although its more likley to be Benitez or Hughton since they've been nominated.

Sean Dyche has to be nailed on for this he plays the most attractive attacking most beautiful football the premiership has ever seen. All those records that he has broken it would be a travesty if it wasn't him

Seriously. With all the records broken this season everyone who votes against Pep has either got a personal vendetta against him or can't admit his brand of football would work here. Burnely are in 7th. Claude Puel got Southampton to 8th last season and all he got was the sack.
