Oh, I know! My wife and I were watching it on TV in Chicago and laughing at the looks and glances! Thought he was going to stop when he said they had to get them hitched, but he carried on. I could have done without a bit of the seeming political stuff, but it’s what happens when a black preacher gets on a roll. Thought the “power of love” motif was successful, especially considering this is a mixed race divorced American Harry is marrying! That’s some resistance he must have been working against inside the walls of the Palace! Good for him! I think William and Harry are TRYING HARD to modernize the Royal Family and bring it into the 21st century. William obviously has the whole “future King” hanging over him, but Kate is a commoner, which is good. Harry has blown that out of the water with an African American divorcee and, I hope, will continue to spread the word of giving through the work he does, especially in Africa...which will be great for the new black Duchess!
Britain is definitely progressing. Not impressed with most of it. To me, from afar, it appears on the decline, but today...to the whole world...it put its best foot forward and looked spitshined and glorious. Long for those days, as they are what I miss...as well as the food and the football, and (mostly) the weather!

I highlighted the problem. In their ideal, we all get the same outcomes, even if others are willing to put in greater effort to succeed. While I have some “socialist” tendencies (under the American ultra-conservative idea of socialism), I’m almost conservative based on how far some have lurched to the left in Jolly Old!
Socially liberal and fiscally conservative, but not quite to the point of libertarian. However, the further left people lurch, the more I appear to be heading in that direction.
