Where he is doomed to fail though is in comparison with the past - once the Chosen One was seen t be out of his depth they quickly moved on the LVG with no real improvement. Then PEG rocks up, they win two trophies and all looked rosy - then this season happened and they saw through PEG too. They are comparing PEG with the GPC and one glaring thing is PEG can't develop players - look at Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Shaw all of whom are going backwards and could even leave then compare with the GPC. As much as it hurts it has to be acknowledged he coached Wes Brown and John O'shea to 5 PL's , 2 FA Cups each and 1 and 2 Champs Lg's respectively. Wes Brown and John O'Shea ffs !!! Rags know only too well given those two PEG would have them playing like Phil Jones in no time. Therefore I don't think its just the dinosaur football that will kill PEG at the swamp but also his inability to conform to what they see as the " Ushited Way". Once again we have to worry that they may end up replacing the coach with somebody who actually knows what the fuck he is doing !

A new man will want his own players and his own backroom staff, and of course there would be a 'settling in period' for whoever goes there, coach and players etc.
Overall, there will have to be a prolonged period of upheaval and mass disruption before they can even think of challenging us for the title, and in the meantime ourselves, Spuds/Dippers/Chelsea and one or two others will also be strengthening (even if Contè goes, it won't matter too much for Chelsea because they are used to chopping and changing managers).

The United hierarchy know their pants have been pulled down by Sanchez and have 4 more seasons ahead with him draining the Salary trough.
