Pre-Season Friendly in Dublin?

Where did you grow up? I know the northside was traditionally strong in GAA but I still reckon more played football in Dublin overall. I grew up in Rathfarnham, very little GAA back then, now it's huge.

No, not rugby country but still loads of football on the Northside! Kevin's, Belvedere, Rivermount and Home Farm were always really strong at underage when I was growing up.

Yeah, Parnells have a great set up out there, I used to work around that way. Strong GAA for sure but I'm sure that GAA is encroaching more on rugby territory now, rather than football. Think Cuala in Dalkey or Kilmacud Crokes.

Yeah that was a disgrace that day.

The highlight for me was getting to watch Usain Bolt run while Milner and Mancini and a few others watching it.

But keep it to Dublin, we're more civilised here ;-)

There were a few no-neck nuckle dragging red tops in front of us and they were constantly looking around as if they were expecting someone to challenge them,
but they were in with a bunch of families and neutrals and nobody was interested in them. They looked like something from the Dundon's gang.
It was really sad turning up at a City match in your United jersey.
Same in the Aviva the year before in the north stand. I seem to remeber one idiot making a fool of himself but being escorted out. Sad sad bunch.

Anyway, it's been too long. really hope they come over.
