And no coverage highlighting that in all competitions his team had scored more goals in the entire history of English football (and just one behind the all-time record for European leagues) The media spent most of their time denigrating him. This week Danny Murphy said he was a "strange choice" for West Ham. Manuel's managerial CV includes River Plate, Real Madrid, Villareal, and City! Perhaps the Hammers should have got pundits' choice Fat Sam back!

Danny Murphy proved himself to be a hater of attacking football after he advised teams to kick our players. His opinion doesn't count anymore IMO.

What amazes me is how stupid pundits are when it comes to assessing players. They keep repeating the mantra that Pogba is a great player (after impressing in a hugely dominant Juve team in the sub-standard and incredibly slow Italian league).
His stats show he is an average player with a career best of 8 league goals in one season for Juve. His performance has been worse than Lingard this season. He is just not that good. Two of Britain's best ever midfield players Souness and Scholes say they don't rate him yet the rest of the pundits continue to say he is world class and it's all Peg's fault that he is not playing well.
