You need to read the penultimate paragraph again. He is obviously alluding to a relocation of Asda to Ancoats.
Got it. It's possible. Logical although Asda potentially got a lot on their plate at the moment

its nearly 15 years now in the etihad and its still the same local based city fans sat around me,just thought i would point that out,
So true. The same is very true of our hard core away support. Our fanbase remains stubbornly local (and rapidly ageing!) I have been suprised that we have not seen the huge influx of JCLs and happy-clappers some predicted. There is a slow stream of new fans and, to me, they are more than welcome. It always makes me laugh when opposing fans chant: "Where were you etc"
To be honest we haven't been truly shit (except perhaps one Pearce season) for 20 years. I wonder when they'll stop singing it.

So, we've had...

Ed Sheeran(Etihad) and The Rolling Stones.(Old Trafford)

With Taylor Swift(Etihad) and Beyoncé and Jay Z to come.(Etihad)

The Yanks and LFC want a piece of the action now. https://www.insidermedia.com/insider/northwest/plans-in-for-anfield-to-host-concerts

They will try and attract the big acts to Anfield, that have and would normally use the Etihad. These big acts won't play 2 stadiums in 1 Region.

I am taking the kids to Taylor swift tommorow. Nice to see the stadium mid summer.

Who in their right mind is going to put on a concert at Klanfield?

Starts off about the Industry that was in east Manchester providing 70% of Manchester's Industrial jobs. In the 70's the loss of Industry from the area and then the land lying dormant through the late 70's into the 1980s.

Goes on to explain the vision of regeneration of East Manchester in the 1990's. The Velodrome was built for the second failed Olympic bid and then the rest of Sport City came with the Commonwealth games. Originally the Stadium was to be used by the FA to play FA Cup Semi Finals and England games etc. That fell through so City were approached to be permanent tenants.

After the take over in 2008 ADUG pledged three promises to Manchester.

1) Build a World Class Team
2) Support City's work in the Community
3) Form a partnership with the Council to regenerate East Manchester with World Class sports facilities, Community projects and housing.

Sports led regeneration is a phrase used.

Originally it was planned as a 20 year project but with the recession thats now a 30 year project.

Leisure facilities will be the last part of the project, Hotels, Casino, restaurants, Cinema's etc........they have to build the residential part first, and get young people through the University. They are aiming to replicate whats in Manchester City centre in "downtown" East Manchester.

Ancoats has been planned to be a residential area and commercial with new jobs etc. Housing in this area will a mix of family and for young people with affordable housing, both rental and to buy.

Lots of Companies inquiring about relocating to the EITHAD campus, from London and abroad including South Africa and USA.

The canals will be used to enhance the standard of life for people both living and working in the area.

Innovation in Tech will play a large part in the area, the word they use is "Embedded".

National sport entity's agreements are in place for them to come. A University Campus will be built in East Manchester.

ADUG is very loyal and will be very supportive of East Manchester, and they stress the long term vision.

They ask the question will there be a day when you'll look at whats been created and say it's finished....the answer it will "Be Down", "Organic" with growth out pacing the decay. There will always be a whats next!!

Thats it in a nutshell, well worth 42 minutes of watching!!
