Fixtures for 18/19 season

wondering if we asked to be away 1st match,
because of concerts on the pitch to give it an extra weeks growing time

It all came out fairly recently. No top 6 teams to play each other in the first or last games or on FA Cup semi-final weekend. At least one game between top 6 teams must take place on 26 separate weekends, with no more than two in the same week. And there must be at least one top 8 game every single weekend.

The fixtures haven't been randomly generated for a very, very long time, but they've never made any secret of that: www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jun/15/fixtures-premier-league-football-league-compiled

So we are away on the opening day, the last day and both Christmas fixtures again. Probably so the worlds biggest club can be at home. That fixture computer really is predictable.

Joke! Another f***ing hurdle put in front of City by the PL.

Away first.
Away last. Again and to another south coast club.
Away at old Trafford in April.

Just in-case you missed this.

BBC Sport bleating for Liverpool.

Liverpool's pre-Europe travels
The Premier League has released dates for all 380 matches, but none have been allotted kick-off times as broadcasters are yet to decide which games will be televised.

The Champions League group stage will commence on 18-19 September, and last season's beaten finalists Liverpool face an away Premier League fixture before all of their six group games. That includes trips to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Manchester United and Spurs are away four times before group games, while Manchester City are on the road twice before European fixtures.
