Can see us being on 21 points after those first 7 games, that should have the dippers in full coach welcome frenzy for game 8!

Indeed.

I suppose that could be influenced by post World Cup fatigue but most of them will probably crash out earlyish in disappointment anyhow & Brazil will pick some mug instead of Fernandinho.

could do with that, nice bonus to have Laporte and Sane left out, as Arsenal have Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Wilshere etc. sat at home so they'll all get a normal pre-season. Hopefully Ederson can take less holiday if he sits on the bench all tournament.

Not a single difficult 'run' of games throughout the whole season by the looks of it. Even if we do lose to one of the other big teams there should be no real reason why we can't get straight back on track.

38 very tough games. They're all in the prem ffs. What with bent refs and thugs like Ali about, not to mention murderous attacks at Anfield, we'll be lucky not to get relegated.

Joke.
As a season ticket holder I would like a season where for once in a while we are at home 1st or last game and boxing day would be a bonus.
Not a chance.
All 3 away.
We should really complain about this.
It's every year now.

Sané, Jorginho, Mahrez, Laporte all miss the world cup and Ederson, Gundogan, Delph definitely won't play, so we should be able to put out a team who aren't fatigued and give the others some rest between the Arsenal and Liverpool games.

If I was an optimist, I'd say we've got a chance of ending this by Christmas again with so many of the big away games in that period. If we win most of them, everyone else has got a nightmare trying to come to the Etihad to beat us and catch up.
