Reminds me of the story of the airline pilot a few years back who announced to his passengers as he was about to land there, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Riyadh. The local time here is somewhere in the 7th century.” (Someone out there may pick me up on the exact century stated but you get the idea.) Don’t know whether he kept his job!
