Could you go a month without alchohol?

I can go without drinking throughout the week but look forward to a few at weekend. I'd struggle like fuck to go a month without.

I've done it a few times but noticed no health benefits and towards the end of the month I felt a bit moody. Don't think I'll ever try it again unless a doctor says I should. I think I can go a fortnight without alcohol by accident though.

I only really struggled when I went to the football. I never felt like I needed a pint, but I just associate being at the footie with having a beer with mates before kick off.

Since theage of 18, have only once been more than a few days without booze. Meningitis when 30. Two weeks without a pint. It was murder, started back on Shandy .Last 30 years drink a little most days.

Enjoy it while you can, if you don't enjoy it don't drink it.

I could if I wanted to. Usually only have a beer Friday to Sunday. Occasionally have one in the week if it’s a holiday or City are on. No big deal for me.

Always thought I would go through the curtains to " take it to the limit"
maybe a re-think needed.

And I have only been to one City match without ale. Millwall away 1990. Drove and needed to be on my toes that day.

A month and counting. Even with the World Cup and all the nice weather, I haven't been interested. It's been easy.
