And what of the forced expulsion of the natives from those islands? And what business does the US have in the South China Sea, which is located on the other side of the planet, and where it has deployed its fleets? But no... China, which has been surrounded by US military bases, is somehow the aggressor.
The US military is generally invited there by the other claimants to those islands. China is absolutely the aggressor in these territorial disputes, trying to bully its neighbours just like it does over the Taiwan issue. It's telling when even Vietnam are inviting US military ships to refuel in their ports. It might not explicitly be a US issue, but it's one that greatly affects their close allies the Philippines.

Ha, what a cop out.

And you have studied them all in detail?

If any one of them had been like North Korea then they’d have been talked about like North Korea.

Despite how utterly horrendous NK is it’s still fascinating so a similar regime would draw attention from the West.

Gosh, Kim is a bleeding heart liberal compared to Pol Pot.

China has made certain territorial claims over lands adjacent to its mainland. If the other neighbouring countries contend these claims then they should settle the dispute through the normal legal channels. The US has absolutely no business exercising its muscles on the other side of the planet over a legal dispute to which it has absolutely no stake. If the US wants to continue extending its tentacles across the planet then it should not be surprised when the targets of its malevolence take action to defend their sovereignty.

I think your statement that China has "made certain territorial claims over lands adjacent to its mainland" is a total under statement of what is going on. China are claiming that the whole of the South China sea is their territorial waters right up to the 12 mile line from the other countries who border the SCS. These countries do not have the power or influence to say no to China, the only country from the west who can are America, like it or not. Someone has to stand up and say these claims are without foundation and are illegal, you know as well as I do if this goes to any court of law the outcome will be ignored. The only way of trying to contain this expansion is to keep sailing warships through international, at the moment, waters sending a clear message.

They don't really need an excuse to set up bases. Unless you think Germany is under threat from aggressors these days.

What so cos i dont work for the media i have no source of information from countries like Syria, Yemen, Libya?

No sir. Just think such a blanket absolutist statement about what the MSM “never” does is counter-productive tonally and untrue in fact. Which one would know had one worked in or with members of it.

If you are referring to specific issues which the MSM rarely addresses or that you believe should be addressed more often, that’s a different point.
