Classic films you forgot about

The Departed what an ensemble cast and brilliant film making by Scorsese, I missed it the other night in ITV4 so watched it the other day, quite simply brilliant Jack Nicholson at his evil mad looking best. The ending is still as shocking as the first time I watched it 12 years ago.

Quality film. Remember seeing it at the cinema and everyone being shocked at ‘that’ scene.

In no particular order:

The Outlaw Josey Wales
Bridge over the River Kwai
Ice Cold in Alex
Midnight Express
Shane
The Unforgiven

I could go on and on...

The Big Lebowski
The People Under the Stairs
Lost Highway
Mullholland Drive
Memento
Die Hard with a Vengeance

Soldier Blue

Probably one of the first films that showed the native Indians as victims, being honest though it’s Candice Bergen’s bottom when she was lying face down and semi naked in the wagon that really effected me.

For those that have not seen it she had an Indian squaws very very short skirt on that kept on riding up showing you know what with a fucking idiot of a soldier trying to protect her modesty by pulling the skirt down with his teeth. It’s a good film.
