He had an awful season for Utd, but the World Cup showed why they bought him. The biggest downside of the World Cup is that Man Utd get back a confident Pogba. Remember that before the tournament he was being abused and barracked by French fans in pre-tournament friendlies. Now he is a hero. I wonder though how Mourinho is going to incorporate him. The return of Pogba is the sole shining light at the moment for Man Utd

I really don't see how the World cup showed anything of the sort. He was an average to good midfielder who scored a couple of goals. He'll no doubt be confident coming home though given his application perhaps he decides now he's earned a bit of a break instead.

Do not be blinded by your dislike of Utd. He's clearly a very talented player who does not fit the role that Mourinho has designed for him.

Cheers for the link mate....pace, strength, comfortable on the ball..... From the report, he might not have the same "passing range" of some of the targets we've looked at over the summer but not 22yrs old until Dec, so could see Pep really help him take it up another level.

His first touch bothers me, especially against high press teams. It's also one the harder aspects to develop so don't think his ceiling is currently as high as the article suggests. Interesting though...

A typical rag player.

I wear thinking that also, the only good thing for him is the sheep effect the media and talk sport have created for him.

I still don’t really buy into the Pogba hype. Minus some crazy antics, he’s kind of like the midfield version of Balotelli. Sure, he has a lot of ability but his intelligence (or lack of) on the pitch is of someone much younger than 25.

I personally hope he stays at United. It would be painfully absurd if they managed to generate a profit on him after a few decent displays at the World Cup.
