Highly impressed by this lad. Think he was our best player against Liverpool after Garcia and it was not even his natural position. Fabinho is gonna have nightmares

Could easily have had a goal and an assist. Any reason this is in the transfer forum?

Deserves his own thread. Think he's been quality at RWB. If he was a new signing we'd be well excited about him. Strong, confident, lightning quick...and a City fan :)

Deserves a start in the community shield for me presuming walker and Danilo aren't about.

Totally agree. Hard to see too many games beyond that unless he has a superb game against Chelsea.

Ideal scenario IMO would be starts the Community Shield, looks good, gets himself a good loan off the exposure.

He's not going to see the light of day once Walker+Danilo come back, he's not a RB by trade any way, but he's shown he's ready for senior football.

You never know, in a years time the first team's RW might look pretty empty with Silva possibly moving inside and Sterling's contract stand-off looming on the horizon, and if he had a good loan he could be coming back in with a legitimate chance of a first team place.

Massively impressed with him, one of the standouts along with Garcia last night.

It's not that he's 'doing well for a youngster', it's the fact that he's doing well full stop. He had Robertson worrying all night, a player who probably had his best games against us last season was made to look bang average. The pace Bolton showed when he set up Sane in the second half was unreal, made Fabinho look like an OAP, must be one of the fastest players in the squad.

Yet prudence dictates that to cover our arses in the opening fixtures until the regulars are back he stays with the first team. Once that is over then he can go out on loan unless loans are also governed by the transfer window (not sure) if they are ignore the bollocks above. :-)
