Would love it if Utd signed Boateng. As injuryprone as Kompany but unlike Kompany has massively declined.

Think it's obvious tho that they want Alderweireld. All the other links are to get Spurs to lower their asking price (or to make Sky money via Skybet)

This is a deal that won't ultimately happen this week IMHO but not because of money - this recycled claim that they lack finances to pull off a big move is folly. Sure, Pogba would likely have to accept less wages at Barcelona and Pizza boy would have to forego any balloon payments for himself but the main reason it won't happen is because of how late in the window it is and how complicated a deal would be

Still, for all the reasons to despise pizza boy he does seem to get what his client wants 9 times out of 10
