Why didn't Pep go to the rags?

Every day I get in my knees and thank the lord for Pep.

But I and I'm sure a lot of rags fans often wonder why they didn't go after him.

He had all the credentials and they were looking around for a replacement, so why was it never even mentioned.

Could it be that they did check him out but he saw how rotten things were over there and really didn't fancy it?

They're divisive figures on here, but we have Txiki and Soriano to thank for Pep coming to us. The rags might have looked at him, but he never looked at them.

From the moment these guys arrived there was only one destination for Pep, they're the reason HRH and Khaldoon got these guys in the first place.
