First song I ever downloaded when one could, because it was the first song I ever truly loved. COMPLETELY agree that it's way better than Springsteen's, and I can't believe I didn't put it in the Covers That Are Better Than The Original thread.

People marking down Come on Eileen should mosey on over to the Songs That You Cannot Stand thread where the the song is far more properly evaluated, multiple times, with a variety of, errrrr, creative epithets.

Of course, some people feel good when they punch a lead singer in the throat, so maybe that's what you meant.

Plus denim overalls with no undershirt seem un-comfy.
