Tube. End up at Stratford. One change 20/25 mins and a 15 minute walk to the stadium. Not many pubs around Stratford though, so have your ale around Euston or an en-route tube station

To be serious a quick flip to st Pancras then a short ride to Stratford international is about half the time of a full underground trip

I'd go over to Hackney Wick and go to crate - https://cratebrewery.com/

Nice pub and does pizza - its about 5 mins walk to the away end from there but can get abit busy on match day. I went there last season

Definitely the right answer. A lot more pleasant as well.Its only 10 mins walk (max) to St Pancras then upstairs to platform 12 and jump on a nice air conditioned Javelin. Takes all of 7 mins to Stratford.
