I’m sure this will get lost in the match day thread, but I just need to write this to vent. Pep says that Foden is good enough to start, yet when all the stars align due to an injury crisis he chooses to play Mahrez out of position instead of starting Foden.

I hope he leaves for his own good. Very sad.

Phil Foden is an under sized, understrength young man with no experience. If Pep picked him tonight he’d need a slap in the chops off Arteta to get him back to reality
