Hoffenheim (H) Post Match Thread

I thought Bacon was great.
Foden got better as the game went on.
Jesus got battered by their defenders, but put in a good shift, his movement off the ball is very good.
Sterling was brilliant.
Silva had an off day.
Zin was good.

...you get my drift.
All in all, a good performance.

Roll on Everton.
 
Job done but it's a funny old game even without the Eddie save they could have still had a point at the end but we could have had 6/7 easily.
 
Lots of positives in that performance with the changes. Foden outstanding in 2nd half and as ever our build up play is unplayable. Our downfall this year will be not converting chances if we're not careful. Not trying to flap but it needs sorting out before we get into the business end. Better teams will punish us badly. Jesus was great 2nite also but badly needs a goal. Schalke in the new year ; )
 
One thing we badly need to address in January is LB. Getting horribly exposed there. Zinchenko and Delph for how hard they try are just not defenders. If Mendy's injury problems persist we can't carry on playing midfielders there.
